class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p class=\"bodytext\">Diese Expedition f\u00fchrte uns zu einem der entlegensten Pl\u00e4tze dieser Erde, in die Antarktis. Noch vor wenigen Jahren h\u00e4tte ich es kaum f\u00fcr m\u00f6glich gehalten, den siebenten Kontinent zu bereisen, um dort den h\u00f6chsten Berg zu besteigen. Das war lange Zeit eine Tr\u00e4umerei. Nun ist ein ganz besonderes Abenteuer daraus geworden.<br \/><br \/><strong>S\u00fcdlich 80 Grad<\/strong><br \/>Am 30. November brachen wir nach Chile auf. Von Punta Arenas, der gr\u00f6\u00dften Stadt in Patagonien, flog uns eine riesige Transportmaschine in die Antarktis. Nach f\u00fcnf Stunden Flug und einer aufregenden Landung auf einer nat\u00fcrlichen Eisfl\u00e4che erreichte das Team die Basis Patriot Hills. Nun lag der Ausgangspunkt f\u00fcr unsere weiteren Unternehmungen bereits s\u00fcdlich des 80. Breitengrads.<br \/>Eisige St\u00fcrme zwangen zun\u00e4chst zum Warten auf besseres Wetter. Anschlie\u00dfend lie\u00dfen wir uns mit einem Kleinflugzeug zum Fu\u00dfe der Ellworth Mountains bringen. Hier errichteten wir das erste Lager und setzten am folgenden Tag den Aufstieg mit Ski und Pulka, einem speziellen Schlitten, fort. Um noch n\u00e4her an das Vinson Massiv heran zu kommen, wurde der Platz f\u00fcr das Hauptlager erst auf 2770m H\u00f6he geebnet. Von hier aus wollten wir den Gipfel versuchen.<br \/><br \/><strong>K\u00e4lterekord<\/strong><br \/>In den folgenden f\u00fcnf Tagen wehrten wir uns gegen die gef\u00fcrchteten antarktischen St\u00fcrme, die sich bis zum Blizzard steigerten. Das Zelt gruben wir in den Boden ein und bauten Schneemauern zum Schutz. Erst als der Orkan sich legte, war an die Besteigung des h\u00f6chsten Berges der Antarktis zu denken. Am 14.12. brachen wir um 13.45 auf und standen 23.15 auf dem 4897m hohen Gipfel. Allein die herrliche Aussicht entsch\u00e4digte f\u00fcr die extremen Temperaturen von minus 41 Grad Celsius. Alle hohen Berge der Ellworth Kette lagen in strahlendem Sonnenschein. Der Blick schweifte \u00fcber einen fantastischen Kontinent, wo am Horizont die Eismassen den Himmel ber\u00fchren. Die gigantische Weite der Antarktis lag direkt unter uns.<br \/><br \/><strong>Flucht aus dem ewigen Eis<\/strong><br \/>Ein paar Stunden sp\u00e4ter waren wir mit den Ski bereits wieder zur\u00fcck im Hauptlager.<br \/>Das Wetter war aber nur einige Tage stabil und wir nutzten diese Zeit, um zur Basis zur\u00fcckzukehren. Erst nach einem weiteren Tag Wartezeit und aufkommendem Sturm der unseren Abflug noch einmal in Frage stellte, holte uns das Transportflugzeug am 18.12. zur\u00fcck nach Punta
